We had the joy and privilege to meet our friends,

We had the joy and privilege to meet our friends, Sandy and Jon, in the Twin Cities tonight for dinner.

It’s absolutely crazy how we first connected with them. Sandy had found our blog and had followed us on social media. Back in 2021, we posted something from our cruise on the Celebrity Edge and it just so happened that her daughter and son of law were on the exact same ship. We had such a good time visiting with her kids and two years later, Jon and Sandy joined us on our first ever Postcard Jar Friends Cruise to the Caribbean.

It was so much fun to finally meet them in person and we had the best time on our cruise together. We’re thrilled that they will be joining us again for our Postcard Jar Friends Cruise to Alaska in May and that we will all be reunited for a third group trip next May when we travel to Costa Rica for a land-based tour.

Our travels have introduced us to some of the nicest, most interesting people. We are so happy that our first group trip brought Jon and Sandy into our lives and we are so blessed to call them friends.

Happy Easter! We’re celebrating in Rochester, Minn. this year. We had the honor of worshipping this morning at @cccrochester. Such a thoughtful and uplifting service and a simple reminder that God is love.

How cute is this? We had an early Easter celebration today with family and took festive fruit skewers to share.

This was a colorful Easter side dish and a big hit. It was also healthy and delicious. To make it, we just cut up a bunch of fresh fruit and put it on wooden skewers and topped it with a marshmallow @peepsbrand bunny.

We used an inexpensive Easter basket with floral foam hot glued to the bottom. We just stuck the skewers into the foam base and filled in the basket with paper grass.

Did you know that there are FREE bicycle rentals in @gulfstatepark? To rent a bike, just go to one of the designated bike stations, download the Bloom app, scan the QR code on a bike, and off you go.

There are 50 complimentary bikes around the park. You can use the bike for up to three hours and must stay in the state park.
